Smile and say "No Photoshop"

The main points in the article were about fashion magazines retouching and photoshopping pictures. Magazines all over the world create a "perfect" image that not even the models who are in the picture can actually live up too. The article makes points on how this effects peoples own self confidence in which I agree. I agree in all aspects that magazines are turning to much away from real people. Retouching every little thing just to make some one perfect is not what magazines are suppossed to be about. They should be encouraging and show real people. This would help others understand no one is perfect and leave the stress of the "perfect image" off of their shoulders. Photoshop should be used but not in all aspects. If you cannot see a person clearly or the lighting is off than okay. Not to change the size or overall look of the person in the photograph. By doing so this changes the reality of life and makes the fashion industry look like they are promoting people to be fake. The way they shoot their models compared to the way the write articles needs to match up and quick!
