2) The point of working on art that will dissappear with the elements is to see it for the time you have with it. Just becuase it will not last forever does not mean it is no good. Nothing lasts forever so it only makes sense for it to go away. The art is so beautiful that people would not need it to last because they would have the image in their memory. His art is still very unique and pretty even if it does fade. That is the nature of the beast, to beable to see it but only for some time. I think this is one of the coolest things about his works because if it connects to you then you will not need it to stay forever becasue you can still see it and learn a new form of art from it.


4) Learning about Mr. Goldsworthy's style is very intriguing. He is not afraid to go out and create or find something completey different. He seems to always be able to find an idea out of anything. For my own work he inspires me to expand my horizon from what I already know about to finding or creating something different or that I do not know about. I want my work to be as unique in class as his is. I am going to try to remember these things with our projects so I can have soemthing to be so proud or inspired by too. I want to beable to have something that really catches peoples attention like him.


6) I think what makes art is something that is beautiful and inspires a person. Art varies for many people because they have different opinions. Art catches your attention and makes you think about what your looking at. Everything in in this world is art you just have to take the time to explore and notice it. Mr. Goldsworthy's style is also a work of art. This is because art is not just a painting or a poem but more. Art can be something you see in nature or something you create. His stlye is more outdoors and unique which in my opinion makes the best art. He sees things other people would not normally see or take the time to make for example what he creates to catch samon on the beach. It is amazing how his artistic abilities allowed his mind to come up with such a creative idea. Making something different that attracts the eye is art no matter what you are using it for.
